The Hume C-V1.0 reports at regular intervals known as the “heartbeat interval.” This interval is configurable, allowing you to set how often the device sends status updates to the server. It ensures you receive periodic updates on the device’s status.
If the tamper sensor is active, the device wakes up to report this event. Tampering could involve unauthorized access or removal of the device from its mounted position. Reporting tamper events helps in enhancing the security of your assets.
The Hume C-V1.0 also wakes up when it detects movement. The definition of movement is highly configurable and can be adjusted based on parameters such as G-force, the number of movement samples, and movement time.
